Advocacy, Guidance, and Support for Families Raising Neurodivergent Children

Mission Statement

Founded on October 1, 2025, the Rockland County Community Mothers Support Group was created to empower, support, and advocate for families navigating the complexities of raising children with diverse learning, developmental, and emotional needs. Since its founding, the organization has continued to grow—bringing together mothers, caregivers, and community members committed to ensuring that every child is understood, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive.

Our mission is to provide family advocacy, educational guidance, and community-based support for parents seeking to navigate school systems, develop supportive home environments, and access vital resources. Through consultation, shared experiences, and practical strategies, we help families build confidence, strengthen their voices, and advocate effectively for their children.

Grounded in compassion, community, and empowerment, the Rockland County Community Mothers Support Group remains dedicated to building a network where families feel seen, heard, and supported, and to working together to create more inclusive spaces for children and parents throughout Rockland County.

We believe that meaningful change comes through both wisdom and perseverance, so we work with consistency, diligence, and strategic advocacy to produce real results for our children and families. By combining lived experience, informed guidance, and faith-centered encouragement, we help parents navigate educational systems, develop supportive home environments, and stand confidently in their role as advocates. We believe progress happens when faith is matched with action, knowledge is shared within the community, and families remain steadfast in pursuing equity, inclusion, and the resources their children deserve.
